Making A Shift From H.S. To College Leveled Work:)

A transition I find challenging is financially keeping up with food, transportation, and books for school.

Two specific actions that I commit to taking in order to overcome this challenge is obtaining employment part time to juggle school and work.  I also plan to create a savings account for emergencies and just to save up some extra money.

this is very positive attitude.
LaGuardia has many programs to help student in their financial needs...
Here are some of things that i find very helpful..
*if you are eligible to get Financial Aid, never forget to click on the WorkStudy program, it is a great way to find an on-campus job.
*Never forget to apply for tap when you apply for Financial Aid..another great source to get money..
* there is also a way you can get free metrocard, i dont have much information about it.. you can go ask C107.
* Also if you are able to maintain a grade higher than B+, you will be eligible to work as a APA Tutor, another great way to make some good money as well as make yourself look good...
*keeping a good GPA will also help you school scholarship... pretty easy way to get more money..
Good luck in your studies-:)
